Intuit Software End User License Agreement

In addition to the general license, you can: (i) install and use a copy of the software on up to five (5) computers that belong to you (at home or at work); (ii) use the software solely for the creation, printing and/or electronic filing of your tax returns for the 2020 federal fiscal year and related government tax returns, as described below; (iii) create a backup copy of the Software for your personal use, as authorized under this license. Any software delivered by electronic transmission (whether a replacement copy is or not) is considered provided on the day Intuit makes such a program available for download. In the event that you are in dispute with one or more other users of the Services, you accept that the dispute exists between you and these other users, and you give Transaction Pro (and its senior executives, directors, employees and agents) claims, claims and damages (real and material) of any kind, known and unknown, suspected and ignorant, disclosed and undisclosed that arise from or in any way related to such disputes. If you reside in California, you waive the California Civil Code 1542, which states: “General release does not apply to claims which the creditor, at the time of the execution of the release, does not know or is suspected that they exist in his favour and who, if he is aware of it, must have had a significant influence on his agreement with the debtor.” Intuit can provide you with a mechanism to provide feedback, suggestions and ideas on its products and services (“Feedback”). You agree that Intuit may, at your own discretion, use in any way the feedback you provide to Intuit, including future changes to Intuit software, multimedia work, and/or related advertising and promotional materials. You grant Intuit a free license to use, modify, create derivative works, disseminate and display all the information you provide to Intuit. If you are a registered TurboTax user for fiscal year 2020 and receive a review letter from the IRS or the State Department of Revenue regarding your 2020 TurboTax, dann Intuit will provide free review notices (to what to expect and how you prepare) from a tax expert available throughout the year to help you answer your audit questions until December 31, 2023.
